  • One half white onion, diced
  • Two teaspoons garlic, freshly minced
  • One can diced tomatoes, do not drain

  • Two tablespoons pickle relish
  • Three cups beef broth
  • Two teaspoons yellow mustard
  • Eight ounces bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • One cup heavy cream
  • Eight ounces frozen Southern Style hash browns
  • One and one half cups Cheddar Cheese, freshly shredded

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, place and crumble the ground beef. Add in the frozen Southern Style hash browns and onion.
  2. Drain any fat off the meat.
  3. Spoon in the garlic and saute until fragrant.
  4. Remove from the heat and spoon the meat into the slow cooker.
  5. Add the diced tomatoes with the juice, mustard, pickle relish, and Worcestershire Sauce.
  6. Stir to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and stir again.
