As someone who’s always juggling work and my love for cooking, I find slow cooker recipes to be a lifesaver. This 4-ingredient honey garlic pork chops recipe is perfect for those busy weekdays when you want a delicious meal without spending hours in the kitchen. The sweet and savory combination of honey and garlic creates a comforting dish that’s sure to become a family favorite. Plus, with just four ingredients, it’s budget-friendly and incredibly easy to prepare.
These honey garlic pork chops pair wonderfully with a side of mashed potatoes or steamed rice to soak up all that delicious sauce. For a bit of color and crunch, add some steamed broccoli or a simple green salad on the side. If you’re feeling a bit more indulgent, a slice of crusty bread would be perfect for sopping up every last bit of the sauce.
Ingredients
4 pork chops
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic, minced
Directions
Place the pork chops in the bottom of your slow cooker.
In a small bowl, mix together the honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
Pour the honey garlic mixture over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
Serve warm, spooning the sauce over the pork chops.
Variations & Tips
For a bit of heat, you can add a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the honey garlic mixture. If you prefer a thicker sauce, remove the pork chops once they’re done and stir in a cornstarch slurry (1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water) into the sauce, cooking on high for an additional 10-15 minutes until thickened. You can also try this recipe with chicken thighs or even a pork tenderloin for a different twist.
